Tank Size and Setup

• Tank Size: A minimum of 10 gallons is recommended, especially if keeping a small group. These fish are social and thrive in groups of at least 4-6 individuals.
• Substrate: Use a soft, sandy substrate to protect their sensitive barbels. Coarse gravel can damage their barbels, leading to infection.
